From Carnegie Hall to Korean television, experience Jamon Maple's cross-cultural artistry
After advancing through two preliminary rounds, Jamon will compete as a finalist for the grand prize of $70,000 in this prestigious Korean Art Song competition. As the sole representative from the United States among 13 finalists from 12 countries (out of an initial 42 participating countries), he will perform solo at KBS Hall and with the KBS Symphony Orchestra, followed by a tour with other finalists to Lotte Concert Hall and Dangsin Culture and Arts Center.
The competition will be filmed for a documentary airing October 9, 2025 on KBS.
Part of the Sound and Talk series designed to foster close connections between artists and audiences. Jamon will discuss and perform songs from his Korean journey from start until now.
